The player begins by dragging the available spools of thread (purple, blue, grey, yellow, and red) to their corresponding colored sections on the knitting pattern.
To generate more thread, the player shifts to the puzzle board below. They make matches of three or more same-colored spools to clear them from the board. Clearing spools generates new, full spools of thread at the top.
The player continues this cycle: they knit a few sections with the available thread, then solve the puzzle to create more thread spools, and then return to knitting.
In the puzzle section, some spools have numbers on them (e.g., 3 or 8), indicating they require multiple matches to be cleared. The player prioritizes matches that will clear these numbered spools and create the colors needed for the knitting pattern.
The player systematically works through the knitting pattern, matching colors like orange, light blue, green, and purple, while continuously solving the puzzle to replenish their thread supply.
Towards the end, the player clears the remaining puzzle pieces to generate the last few spools of grey and purple thread needed to finish the knitting.
Once the entire knitting pattern is filled, a "LEVEL COMPLETE!" screen appears, showing a reward of 40 coins.
