Observe the colored grid pattern at the top of the screen that you need to replicate. On the board below, identify and tap two identical spools of yarn that are next to each other to merge them into a larger spool. Continue merging spools of the same color until you have a complete spool (shaped like the number 8). Drag a line from the completed spool to the corresponding colored section in the pattern at the top to knit it. Repeat this process of merging and knitting for all the colors in the pattern until it is complete.
The game board has a limited number of spaces for spools, so manage your space carefully. Some spools are frozen in ice blocks. To break the ice, you must perform a merge on a tile directly adjacent to the frozen one. The bottom rows contain tiles with question marks. These hide new spools. Clearing adjacent tiles will reveal them. Once a color is completely filled in the pattern, you no longer need spools of that color.
Prioritize merges that will clear ice blocks or reveal hidden spools, as this will give you more resources and space to work with. If the board becomes too crowded, try to use up a color that you have a lot of, or one that takes up a small portion of the final pattern, to create more space. Look ahead at the pattern to anticipate which colors you will need most, and try to create those spools. Sometimes, a single merge can set off a chain reaction, revealing multiple new spools at once. Look for these opportunities to clear the board efficiently.
