The primary goal is to complete the colored knitting pattern at the top of the screen. To do this, you must match the colored yarn spools from the active row to the corresponding color blocks in the pattern. Tap a yarn spool and then tap the section of the pattern you want to fill with that color. Some yarn spools are located in a lower storage area; you must move them to an empty slot in the upper active row before you can use them. Continue this process of moving and using yarn spools until the entire pattern is knitted.
Each yarn spool contains a limited amount of yarn, so use it only on the correct color blocks. The game board features obstacles, such as numbered blocks that must be cleared by making adjacent matches. You have a limited number of active slots in the top row, requiring strategic management of which spools to bring up from storage.
Plan your moves by looking at the pattern to see which colors you will need next. Try to use up an entire spool of one color to free up an active slot for another spool you need from the storage area. Prioritize using the spools that are already in the active row to create space. When dealing with large sections of a single color, bring up multiple spools of that color to the active row if space permits.
